Apart from one connecting the Central Silverwastes with Sharp Valley and the ones in the Retrospective Runaround jumping puzzle, they have to be opened by defeating bandits in the skritt territory. They can be kept open indefinitely with the continued succession of the Protect Rikker from bandit raiders event.
